Jar filling machine

Hot filling processed cheese into glass jars

Processed cheese is typically filled at elevated temperatures, where the product becomes relatively fluid. While this makes filling easier, it also places higher demands on the filling technology.
Two factors are especially critical:

  • No dripping – even small drips can contaminate the jar rim, compromising hygiene and affecting the integrity of the seal. Clean filling is essential to ensure a reliable closure and maintain product quality throughout its shelf life.
  • No air bubble entrapment – Consumers judge products long before they taste them. Air bubbles trapped in the cheese reduce the visual appeal of the product and can make an otherwise premium product look inconsistent on the supermarket shelf. A smooth, bubble-free fill creates the premium appearance consumers expect.

At Primodan, we design filling systems specifically for demanding food applications, ensuring clean, accurate filling while minimizing product drips and air entrapment—even with hot-filled products.
Because when your product reaches the supermarket shelf, every jar represents your brand.
